What is the Torah and Why is it
Important to me as a Christian?
Simply put, the Torah is teaching that
is contained in the first five books of the Bible, Genesis, Exodus,
Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy; which embodies the History,
Teaching and Doctrines of the people called “Israel.” Jews
refer to the Torah of Moses as the word of God; but it is easiest to
remember as my Rabbi taught me: “The Torah is God’s Teaching and
Instructions for living a successful life in His Kingdom.”
Easy enough right? But you are going to say—“Ahh….I’ve got it
now—this dude is trying to put us under the LAW again; and I have
been warned by my Pastor to stay away from people who do
that!”
TRUE. And I conquer with your
Pastor 110%--accept, the Torah is NOT the LAW spoken of in Paul’s
letter to the Galatians; in Paul’s letter to the Galatians, and in
Colossians, the Apostle to the Nations is charging you to not
attempt to take up the ritual purity of the Levitical System of
Sacrifice and Offering as your road to righteousness.
You see in Paul’s day the Second Temple
period of Israel—the Temple or Beit Hamikdash—stood in
Jerusalem. Anyone who was born into Israel, or was converted
into Israel’s faith was required to not only adhere to the Torah of
Moses—but also the Levitical System of Ritual Purity—which was only
maintained through strict adherence to Leviticus chapters 1-5.
The established Priesthood was through the services of the Levites
and the Kohanim. Just for the record—the Levites were those
who were descended from the original tribe of Levi that gathered
with Moses and Aharon at the Eigal—the destruction of the Golden
Calf—when Moses called “All who are for the Lord—gather with me,”
and the only people who responded were Moses fellow tribe mates—the
Levites.
The Levites ministered in the outer court of the
Temple; they dealt with the carcasses of the sacrificial animals
after the Kohen made the sacrifice—they dealt with the Holy fire of
the Brazen Altar—Praise and Worship—and they were the Temple Guards
and Gatekeepers who allowed and forbade entrance into the
Temple. The Levites also had certain ceremonial jobs like
harvesting the Spring Omer—the harvest of the spring Barley that
went on for 50 days between Passover and the Feast of Shavuot—or the
day of Pentecost; the Levites had many other duties—but all of them
were in the outer courtyard of the Temple complex—and throughout the
countryside. The Levites are a Priesthood forever and are to
be recognized in both the House of Judah and the House of
Israel.
The Kohanim—were the direct blood descendants of the
first Kohen Gadol—or High Priest of Israel—Aharon, the older Brother
of Moses. The Kohanim had a completely different job within
the Temple super-structure and it was from this Patrilineal line
that the High Priest would be chosen. The Kohanim were
responsible for making the sacrifice offered by the people.
The Kohanim also served on the ruling counsel called the Sanhedrin
judging the tribes of Israel, they taught the Levites the Torah’s
Commands, Decree’s Laws and Instructions; further, they were
responsible for the worship in The Holy Place—where the Temple
Menorah, the Table of the Showbread, the Incense Altar were.
They also were responsible for various other duties within the
Temple. The Kohanim are a Priesthood forever and are to be
recognized in both the House of Judah and the House of Israel.
The Kohen Gadol—this was a blood descendant of Aharon
himself and was an office that was appointed by God until the Romans
overtook Jerusalem and the position became political during the time
of YahuShua. The Kohen Gadol oversaw all the activities of the
Kohanim and the Levites within the Temple. He has three major
functions—the first of which is to perform the atonement
sacrifice—first for himself, and then for all the people during His
big day to shine—which was on Yom Kippur—or the Day of
Atonement. His second obligation was to consult the Urim and
the Thummim—the two sacred stones which were to provide a direct
answer from the Lord God Himself on matters that were too difficult
to build a majority consensus within the 70 Elders of Israel which
the High Priest presided over in His position as the Kohen Gadol
with the Sanhedrin as His third obligation. Making proper
rulings on what the Torah may or may not mean is a critical job and
one the High Priest was ultimately responsible for.
Yeshua ben Yosef came as the High
Priest—or the Kohen Gadol of a better Priesthood than that of the
Levities; not one made with the hands of men, but in the Spiritual
Realm where the true Temple stands. The Prophet Zechariah says
that the Priests of the Lord will gather those who are far away to
make up this Spiritual Temple—Stones that are living that rise up to
make a perfect Temple. All believers in the God of Abraham,
Isaac and Jacob—are the stones that make up this third and final
Temple.
In the days of the Messiah, paranoia
about “ritual purity” and “ritual cleanliness” was so great that the
Sanhedrin Elders of Israel made a rule that stated that anyone
traveling or living in a location of more than 10 miles outside of
Jerusalem was to be considered “ritually impure” unless they were a
Plebian Class (rural class) Pharisee or Sadducee. In the
Apostle Paul’s letters to the Galatians and Colossians this constant
paranoia about remaining in a state of “ritual purity” was a
constant matter of debate among Jewish practitioners. If one lost
their “pure status” by coming in contact with a dead
body—bleeding—skin eruptions and alike—were tragic—as it would
prevent access to the Temple without the approval of a Kohen
Priest. The only way to re-obtained ritual purity was through
the “ritual sacrifices and offerings –and a “ritual Mikvah
bath. These things were nothing more than a TUTOR—until “that
which was perfect had come”—which is Yeshua (Jesus).
Paul wrote that this system of obtaining and maintaining ritual
purity was “fading and would soon disappear;” and that it was “not a
means of Salvation.” Paul was echoing a similar prediction of
destruction that Rabbi YahuShua had predicted of the 2nd Temple in
Jerusalem by the Romans following the rebellion of 64CE; this is
where YahuShua said “you will not see one stone left here upon
another…” much to the Apostles bewilderment at the time—as they
could not imagine a life without the maintenance of ritual purity
through animal sacrifice, as this was all they had ever known as a
means of gaining and retaining a “pure status.” Yeshua (Jesus)
is our sacrificial lamb; in laying down His life for us, he made the
first system of ‘ritual purity” obsolete by founding the Priesthood
of the Malki-Tzadekkian order to be “founded on better
promises.” These better promises were that the perfect and
sinless blood of God in the flesh could not ever compare to the
blood of Bulls and Goats, Rams and Turtle Doves. The Temple
sacrifices of animals seems draconian to us today in the year 2008
and there is no Temple to study and understand; and to be honest
with you—most teachers I know have little to know understanding of
the operational aspect of the Levite Priesthood and more importantly
the high office of the Kohen Gadol which is a type and shadow of
YahuShua in MAN.
The Apostle Paul had a complete and
total working knowledge of the Temple and of ALL aspects of Ritual
Purity which He confesses that He kept “perfectly—without flaw” in
Acts 24:18. Additionally Paul, in His instructions to Timothy
in 1 Timothy 1: 8 says “We know that the (Levitical) law is good if
one uses it properly.” And verse 9 goes on, “We know that the
(Levitical) Law was made not for the RIGHTEOUS but for the “Law
breakers and Rebels, the Ungodly and Sinful, the Unholy and
Irreligious, for those who kill their Fathers and Mothers, for
Murderers, Adulterers, and Perverts, for Slave Traders, and Liars
and Perjurers, and for whatever else is contrary to Sound Doctrine
that conforms to the Glorious Gospel of the Blessed God which He
entrusted to me.” He is saying that the Levitical Law is a means of
restoring fellowship for people who are partaking of those types of
activities. Look again, He says it is for the “UNRIGHTEOUS”
and not for the Righteous. As born again believers in the God
of Abraham named Yeshua ben Yosef (Jesus Christ) we are NONE of
those things; we ONCE WERE—but when we called upon the Name of the
Lord, we were exchanging our righteousness—which was as “filthy
rags” to the Lord—something EXTREMELY IMPURE & UNCLEAN, in
exchange for YahuShua the Messiah being our righteousness fulfilling
the verse in Jeremiah which says “And His Name shall be called: YHWH
(the Lord) OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
Our Righteousness was impure—but Jesus
righteousness is perfect and without blemish. YahuShua became
our “Asham” and “Chattas” offerings. Under the sacrificial
system of Levi—there were 5 mandatory offerings which the devout
would participate in and they were:
1. The Elevation Offering: called the “Olah” or “Burnt” or
“Elevation Offering” was referred to as such because the animal was
totally consumed upon the Brazen Altar which was always burning in
front of the Tabernacle of the Temple, and offering acted as
protection from God’s wrath. “Olah” literally means to “Come
up” and we keep this offering by making our lives a living
sacrifice, Holy and acceptable to God which is our reasonable
service. This—just like the original “Olah” offering results
in smoke which rises as a pleasing aroma to the Lord; not that the
smell was actually that great but your obedience in keeping the
required “Olah” was absolutely a sweet savor to the Lord.
2. The Second Offering: called the “Minhah” or the “Grain
Offering.” The “Minchah” offering was the most popular of all
the offerings and was made from taking the finest part of the Wheat
Kennels, and Olive Oil was mixed into the dough and mixed with
Frankincense and baked into a Cake that would be split between the
“Minchah” itself and the remainder which provided food for the
Levite Priesthood. Yeshua called Himself a “Grain of Wheat”
which must fall to the ground and die—but afterwards will produce a
Harvest 30-60-or 100 fold as He is our Minhah Grain Offering.
The Grain Offering is represented today by our adherence to the
Bread of Life—which is the Torah—the Word of the Living God; who was
not only the Bread that proceeds from the very mouth of God, but
also was full of the Holy Spirit—represented by the Oil and the
Frankincense even as Rabbi Yeshua (Jesus) was a sacrifice that was a
very pleasing aroma unto the Lord God!
3. The Third Offering: called the “ZEVAH SH’LAMIM” or the
“Offering of Well Being.” This offering was different from the
“Olah” offering which was completely consumed by fire; it was
actually an offering in which certain portions could be shared as a
“Festive Meal” with the Kohanim—the Priests. This offering is also
called the “Offering of Shalom” which means “Wholeness &
Harmony.” It was taught that the substitutionary death of the
animals was enough to cause a person to rejoice that He was not
being required to give up his life, and thus there was a festive
meal. Additionally, this offering was accompanied by a
glass of Wine which was poured out like the blood of Yeshua for the
Sins of all mankind. We keep this offering today by eating the
Bread and the Wine of the Holy Shabbat Table.
4. The Fourth Offering: was called the “Asham” or the
“REPARATIONS—or SIN Offering” was made that by the shedding of blood
restored our right relationship with God resulting in Atonement and
Forgiveness from God. Reparations are payment for wrongs
committed by the offering party and atonement is the restoration of
“RIGHT STANDING” before the Lord. Yeshua perfect sinless
life is our REPARATIONS OFFERING PROVIDING ATONEMENT called the
“ASHAM.” Thus YahuShua is our Sin offering providing us with
newness of life.
5. The Fifth Offering: was a dual offering called the “Hattat”
which means “Guilt Offering” which would result in the restoration
of “RITUAL PURITY” but it COULD NOT cleanse the conscience of Him
offering the gift until the blood of the animal was replaced with
the voluntary Blood of Yeshua the Son of God—who loved us and gave
HIMSELF for us once and for all which cleared our conscience of sins
and things that lead to death—which were inadvertently done.
Paul understood this when He said “Brothers, I have not yet
attained—but this one thing I do—forgetting what is BEHIND—I press
onto the mark of the High Calling of God which is in Messiah
YahuShua (Christ Jesus). The Second part of the 5th Offering
This should make clear to you what the
Galatians and the Colossians were struggling with. The
Judaizers throughout Israel would go and falsely tell people that
had come to faith in Yeshua—that knew nothing about the Ritual
Purity of the Levitical Law and would tell them—if you are not
Circumcised and follow the Ritual Law of the Temple—you cannot be a
follower of the JEWISH Messiah; which would terrify the little
ones—which made Paul furious. They did not understand this
system and how it was to be a Tutor to be in place until the
appearance of the Priest of the better Covenant—one founded in His
sinless life and based on Jesus precious blood which once and
forever relieved the need for the Sacrifices of animals to continue;
with its regulations and do’s and don’ts.
This is IN the Torah—but it is NOT the
TORAH in fullness—and not what was done away when Yeshua changed the
Priesthood. What was ‘set aside’ in the natural—became
something that we Spiritually adhere to in Messiah, as He kept these
things flawlessly in all areas of His life—which He laid down for
you.
The Torah is God’s teaching and
instruction that includes many of the people who are listed in
Hebrews Chapter 11’s Hall of Fame for “Faith.” The Torah are
all the other instructions that Moses was given on Mount Sinai—that
Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:4—was Yeshua (Christ.) The
Torah is THE MANUAL FOR DISCIPLESHIP IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD—and to
forget it is pure death which brings the curse which Jesus
defeated—back into our life. Jesus said that LOVE was “Obeying
the Commandments?” HE also said “If you LOVE ME you will
keep my Commandments,” assuring us that His Yoke was easy and His
burden was light. 1 John 2:4 and tells us what God thinks SIN
is when it says “EVERYONE WHO SINS BREAKS THE LAW; SIN IS
LAWLESSNESS.” Put another way it could be rendered “EVERYONE
WHO IS TORAHLESS BREAKS THE TORAHS COMMANDS; SIN IS
TORAHLESSNESS.”
But, since I am not new to this rodeo—I
know what you may be thinking, “I don’t follow the Torah—I follow
the Spirit!” And to this I say AMEN! But what does the
Bible say the “SPIRIT” is?? In first John 5:6 the Scripture
says “This is the One who came by water and blood—Jesus
Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water AND
blood. AND IT IS THE SPIRIT WHO TESTIFIES—BECAUSE THE SPIRIT
IS THE TRUTH!!! The Holy Spirit is THE TRUTH—well how does the
Bible define “The Truth” –lets find out.
In Psalm 119:142 which was written by
inspiration of the Holy Spirit and it says “Your righteousness is
everlasting and YOUR TORAH (law) is TRUTH!” And later in the
same Psalm it is written in verse 152 “ long ago I learned from your
STATUTES (the Torah) THAT YOU ESTABLISHED THEM TO LAST
FOREVER!” Doesn’t
FOREVER—just mean FOREVER?? And if FOREVER means FOREVER—then
Jesus DID NOT do away with the Torah of Moses—like he tells us in
Matthew 5: 17-19 which says “17"Do not think that I have come to
abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but
to fulfill them. 18I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth
disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen;
will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is
accomplished. 19Anyone who breaks one of the least of these
commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called
least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and
teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of
heaven.
This is the Master Himself saying this;
Abolish means to do away with—fulfill HAS NEVER MEANT “Do away
with!” Fulfill means “To DO TO OVERFLOWING.” And the
Master says that not the least stroke of a pen will disappear until
all things are accomplished. ALL THINGS ARE NOT
ACCOMPLISHED. YahuShua has not returned and set up His
Millennial kingdom in Jerusalem. Messiah has not regathered
all 12 tribes of Israel into the land—fulfilling His word that He
gave to Abraham. The Devil has not been thrown into the pit
with the Antichrist and that little event called ARMAGEDON has not
taken place yet—SO—the Torah is still in affect—from the very mouth
of Yeshua HIMSELF. Remember the Apostle Paul who wrote about
“Ritual Purity and Circumcision” worked for YahuShua—and so His
teaching is not as weighty as the Kings Himself.
Two more verses so that you have some
ammunition for your friends who will try to talk you out of this is
2 John 6—which says “And this IS LOVE: that we walk in OBEDIENCE TO
HIS COMMANDS. As you have heard from the beginning, His command is
that you walk in LOVE.” In other words—the proof of your Love for
God is that you are obeying His Torah. Lastly in Psalm 119:
165 David—the
“Man after Gods OWN Heart” says “Great
Peace have they WHO KEEP YOUR TORAH (law) AND NOTHING CAN MAKE THEM
STUMBLE!!”
Now that I have your interest now-- I
will attempt to simplify an amazingly hard and lengthy Torah
education into a few words. Covenants are permanent in the
Bible; if—like Paul says—you cannot set aside a Human covenant—then
you most certainly cannot set aside one of God’s covenants! So
let us examine these covenants in more detail:
1. Edenic—You Shall Rule is the
promise to Man: Genesis 1—and Man still rules the earth;
the
covenant sign is the Sabbath on the 7th day.
2. Adamic—You will eat by the
sweat of your brow—and your wife will have greater pain in
childbearing—ask any woman how having a child feels—and you will see
this is still in effect.
3. Noahadic—Be fruitful and the other 7
Noachide laws that God expects all men to keep—the Covenant sign is
the Rainbow—and you still see them—so this is still in
effect.
4. Abrahamic—God promises Abraham
10 blessings among which that all the Nations will be blessed
through His Seed—and that Seed is Messiah. However, we are not
all in the Land of Israel—so this is
still being worked out—as
it is a part of the 10 promises God made to Abraham. Covenant
sign—circumcision of the Heart and foreskin.
5. Mosaic—The 10 Commandments and
the establishment of the Priesthood. The covenant sign are the
Festivals and Feast Days and the 12 Pillars that stood at the foot
of Mount Sinai—representing the 12 unified tribes of
Jacob—which is called “Israel.”
6. Davidic—That David’s Seed
would rule over Jerusalem forever; that Seed is Messiah
Yeshua.
7. Renewed or Messianic—God
promised to make a repaired covenant with the House of Israel and
the House of Judah where He would write His
commands upon our hearts and minds; He would be our God and we would
be His people. The Covenant Sign—is the fruit of the Spirit
active in ones life; and adherence to the Torah like Yeshua himself
did.
Now, if you are astute and paying
attention, you will note that there are seven covenants—7 in Hebrew
is the number assigned with completion or perfection. Why
would—or How could God Himself violate His own word which says in
Malachi 3:6 that “I the Lord DO NOT CHANGE.” If God is indeed
the Word—which we know He is—then this utterance in Malachi comes
before the entire New Testament—which under the Biblical Law of
First Mention makes it absolutely impossible that the Mosaic
Covenant would be done away with. If you take the first 5 book
of your Bible—and look at the aforementioned covenant list and you
will see that it is impossible for the “Law of Moses” –the first 5
books of your Bible to be done away with—because then there would be
none of the following:
1. No Moses–then No Sabbath Rest:
but the writer of Hebrews says that there is a Sabbath Rest for the
“People of God.”
2. No Moses--No Work and Tons of
Kids: If Moses was done away with then you won’t have to
go to work tomorrow because the Holy Spirit will be mailing your
paycheck; and now that childbearing hurt anymore—snuggle up to your
beautiful Wife and ask for 10 or 12 more kids! ;)
3. No Moses--No Rainbow: If Moses
is done away with—you better hope the next rain is not another “Big
One”—or you had better be one great swimmer!
4. No Moses--No Abrahamic
Inheritance: If Moses is done away with—then so is Abraham and then
you have to remove Him and the rest of the faith Giants from the
11th chapter of the book of Hebrews which is all about faith;
and your Pastors will have to get incredibly inventive the next time
they are preaching on faith!
5. No Moses (God forbid!)
If Moses is done away with—then Moses is done away with—and that
means the prophecy of Moses that is fulfilled by Jesus is done away
with too—and so there is not a “Promised Deliverer.”
6. No Moses--No King from the
Line of David: If Moses is done away with --David can stay—but
His Kingdom would not exist because David founded his Kingdom on the
Torah of Moses. Additionally—there would be no line to have a
King over—since David died and Yeshua never would need to come back
and sit on this throne.
7. No Moses--No New Covenant: If
Moses is done away with --the “New” covenant would not exist
because—there would be no Mosaic law to adhere to—so Yeshua could
not be a “perfect” and “sinless” sacrifice. Additionally,
since your New Testament is a direct copy of the Torah of Moses—in
fact every 8.5 out of every 10 words are direct quotes of the
Torah—then you cannot have that either!
DO
YOU STILL THINK THE MOSAIC COVENANT IS DONE AWAY WITH?
Of
course not—but now how does this all work??
The Torah is the commands, precepts,
laws and instructions of the people called “Israel;” if you have
accepted Jesus Christ—Yeshua the promised Messiah—then you have been
grafted into the natural Olive Tree called “Israel.” You are
not some step child—but an equal co-heir with Christ. The
Torah is your instruction manual for how to walk out your life as a
Hebrew follower of Yeshua; and what is hard to understand it covered
in the New Priestly writings which people call the “New
Testament.”
The Torah contains certain sections
that have become spiritual –specifically the sections concerning the
Levitical Covenant. More specifically, the offerings listed in
Leviticus 1-5 have been replaced by our faith in Yeshua’s completion
of those offerings in the 2nd Temple. Jesus is our Guilt
and Sin Offering--our Grain Offering--Our Elevation Offering--and
our Well Being Offering; simply put He is our everything.
The Scripture says “First in the
Natural—then in the Spiritual;” and this is what happened with these
sacrifices. You will still keep these sacrifices—but you will
keep them in the Spiritual; what we are not to do is throw away the
rest of the Lord’s Festivals and Feasts—acting as though they are
not required. The Torah of Moses—has features and festivals
that use the language “For all generations to come….” which
indicates to us that they are universal Feasts and
Festivals.
The Feasts and Festivals of the Lord
God of Israel—Yeshua ben Yosef (Jesus Christ) are to be kept as a
sign to all peoples—in every generation to come that the Holy One of
Israel is the ONE and ONLY God—and there is none else. These
Festivals are all pictures of Yeshua and they have many things to
teach us about the Jewish Messiah and the culture of Israel that you
can learn no other way. NOT ALL CHURCHES WILL KEEP THESE
FESTIVALS AND FEAST DAYS OF THE LORD; but only the Ones that are the
BRIDE and not the Bridesmaids. In the parable that Jesus told
about the 5 Wise Virgins and the 5 Unwise Virgins—this is a picture
of the 10 Northern Tribes of Israel—which are present in the Church
today. Only 50% of the current Body of Christ is going to get
this message—only 5 of the 10 in the parable will understand; but
all will be at the wedding feast. The 5 that were “wise” were
those who had their LAMPS—AND—their OIL. The Lamp is a Hebrew
Idiom for the “Torah” and the oil is the “revelation of the Holy
Spirit” of the Priesthood which is coming to life in this last
day. The 5 Wise Virgins are those who Jeremiah 44 tells us
–are the prophesied Priests of the last days who will teach the
people the difference between “Clean and Unclean,” “Holy and
Unholy,” and “The Festivals and Feast Days of the Lord!” This
is the Priesthood of the Kohanim (the Priests) of the
Malki-Tzadekkian Priesthood; who will be able to teach you the Torah
by the Spirit of God and will be making atonement for the people
when they sin and fall short of the Glory of God.
The Pastors who teach in your local
Churches today are the chosen Levite Priests of the Biblical House
of Israel; they are the Gatekeepers to the Third Temple—They Lead
people in Praise and Worship—they lead people to lay down their
lives as living sacrifices at the brazen altar, where they accept
Jesus blood sacrifice for their salvation and their old life becomes
a vapor rising before the Lord as a pleasing aroma—and they deal
with the implements of the Temple—by counseling and leading you to
follow Rabbi Yeshua.
If you are one of the ones “chosen” by
God—based on nothing that you deserve or have done—to see this
message of the revelation of the reunification of the House of Judah
and the House of Israel—then you are one of the Kohanim—who are
called to take the people past Praise and Worship—and teach them the
significance of God’s Holy Temple which we represent. The
Kohanim teach about the Table of Showbread—and the two stacks of 6
loaves each; six representing the number of Man—one set of six
loaves standing for the House of Judah and one set of six
representing the House of Israel.
The Menorah is the “7 Golden
Candlesticks” spoken of in the book of Revelation by the Apostle
John. The Menorah has 3 Lamps on one side representing the
House of Judah and 3 on the other side, representing the House of
Israel—with the center candlestick representing Yeshua—which is
called the “Shaliach” –or servant which binds both together.
The Holy Incense Altar is made up of
the Holy Fire from the Brazen Altar—which are added to the
Frankincense and other sacred ingredients which are mentioned in the
Torah—which causes a mist to rise which fills the whole
Temple. This represents the MaHaKavod—or the Glory of God
which will ascend as our conduct and our confession become one with
the commands, decrees, laws and instructions which are listed in the
Torah; as we do the actual action of God’s character—then it
represents the Malchut—or Kingdom of God upon the earth. This
is done not by God—but by you as you keep all of God’s commands,
decrees, laws and instructions in the natural by the
Spirit.
Let me stress that just because Levites
were a “lower” stratification than the Kohanim—who were Descended
from Phineas—the grandson of Aharon—they were no better than the
Levites—even as it is today. If God has called you to walk in
the office of Kohen for the House of Israel that is salted
throughout the Church today—then you should be humbled at the Grace
that God has given you. The Kohanim would not have been able
to function without the faithful service of the Levite
Priests.
Just because a Christian Church Pastor
is not teaching about the Sabbath, and the Festivals and Feast Days
of the Lord—don’t you dare look down on these Holy Ones—blessed by
they for their faithful service. These are the Hero’s of the
body that led many of us—or prayed many of us into the Kingdom of
God. They may not understand you full as you begin to study on
this website—but they are your brothers and sisters and make no
question about it. The only reason we mention the differences
between the priesthoods is so you can still see that they are
functioning through Torah to this very day.
YahuShua was the first Malki-Tzadekkian
Priest to sanctify that office since the Patriarch Ya’akov—Jacob did
in the book of Genesis. You are the nation of Holy Priests and
a Royal Nation, and you are to rise into this Holy Temple just prior
to the return of the Son of Man—Yeshua ben Yosef—who is the
suffering servant of Isaiah 53 and is returning soon no longer to be
Yeshua ben YOSEF—the son of Joseph—but to be known now and forever
more throughout the entire world as Yeshua ben DAVID—the conquering
King of the United Commonwealth of Israel. We are His
Priests—the 144,000 thousand thousands--who follow Him wherever He
goes as the Kohen Gadol—the High Priest of our Salvation.
God is joining the Biblical House of
Judah, made up of the descendants of Judah, Benjamin, and half the
tribe of Levi; and the Biblical House of Israel which are the
Descendants and distant relatives of the 10 Tribes of the North that
have been salted into every Nation, Language and Tongue under
Heaven. God is returning us all together from the Jews and the
Church—to be Torah Obedient lovers of People—God’s most precious
creation and to partner together in Tikkun L’Olam: Restoration of
the entire World. This is not British Israelism—and you have
not replaced the Jews (God forbid) but—you are grafted in along side
of them—and as you begin to live out Torah in obedience—then they
will realize that you love them and that Yeshua IS the Messiah of
ALL Israel.
And so you do not think we are just
making this up—a noted YALE UNIVERSITY CHRISTIAN RELIGION PROFESSOR
and many others will contend “that seven-eighths of scripture is
undiscernable without first understanding the Two House reality,
certainly making it into a core theology, and not simply a matter of
eschatology.” And for example, Professor C. A. L. Totten
[1851-1908], of Yale University, was additionally quoted
[1]:
"I can never be too thankful to the
Almighty that in my youth he used the late Professor Wilson to show
me the difference between the two houses. The very understanding of
this difference is the KEY by
which almost the entire Bible becomes intelligible, and I cannot
state too strongly that the man who has not yet seen that Israel of
the Scripture is totally distinct from the Jewish people, is
yet in the very infancy, the mere
alphabet, of Biblical study, and that to this day the
meaning of seven-eighths of the
Bible is shut to his understanding."

Joseph's Birthright,” Destiny Publishers. Seventeenth Edition, 1917,
